Copenhagen 17/11 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Colorful and rough rendering of a setting sun over a hilly landscape on the can.
Pours clear maroon with a red hue. Mid-sized off-white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the bee. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, malty and a bit sugary odor mingling with a bit of nuts and light citric notes. Sweet toasted malts, biscuit and orange jam. Hazelnuts. Lemon and lime.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a tart streak. Lingers for a bit. Finish is a bit dry.
Sweet but with a redeeming bitter touch.
