In case my ratings didn't imply, this is a good beer. Mildly floral aroma, amber in color. Not much head to it, but to no fault. This beer is currently being served as a "seasonal" beer at the Columbus Brewing Company in Columbus, OH. So, it's "retirement" status can be removed. It is a bit of a stronger beer than some, but not as bitter as one would expect with an IPA. I could be wrong, but I almost detect a bit of apricot in this beer, as they have devoted an entire beer to the apricot flavor.
All in all, a very enjoyable, good beer.

Served as a sample at the Columbus Brewing Company. The color was an amber, with some head. The smell was a citrus hop. The taste was nicely citrusy...not as hop overwhelming as a lot of IPAs, but not a pale ale either. Mouthfeel was quite smooth. Drinkability-wise, another all day beer for sure.
Quite a nice little IPA that doesn't leave me gagging from bitterness (not that that's a bad thing, but not all the time!) Hopefully this one will make the regular rotation as well as being bottled, for it's a nice little treat.

On draught at the brewpub. This brew is a dark amber color with a thin light beige head. Thin and slow lacing. The aroma is mostly tart hops with a little malt and caramel. Medium-bodied and tangy with a decent hops presence throughout. The flavor has a light floral character as well. The finish is on the dry side with a strong hops flavor along with a little malt sneaking in here and there. This is one of CBC's stronger offerings and I hope they bring it back sometime.
