Poured into 11Oz sniffer from the tap (draft)at local cantina Grandview Heights OH.
L- quite dark copper in color really with One finger foam head. Filtered certainly.
S- smelled similar to creeper but less sour apple and more piney resinous hop than creeper. As if it was more of a traditional dank hop profile and less of an artificial citrus profile than creeper.
T- I hate to say it so plainly but it truly tastes of a bridge beer between creeper and bodhi. It's more bodhi in taste with a higher abv than it is a creeper with less abv. It is resinous, dank, very slightly grapefruity and the aftertaste is sour like creeper but not to the granny Smith apple variety that creeper is. (I'm a bodhi fan more than creeper if you couldn't tell with a creeper residing in my fridge from two weeks ago.)
F- it feels like a tangy bodhi, just as good and just as carbonated with a slight sour tang aftertaste.
Overall- 97 feet is another phenomenal west coast IIPA from CBC, better than creeper, far better, it naturally covers the 9.7% abv much better than creeper has or could and I do like creeper but this is a much better high volume double, Period. But I am more into natural tasting bitter resinous hop profiled beers rather than artificially citrused or resinous tasting beers as if attempting to cover the abv. It's worth your time to say the least. Cbc is killing it. It's phenomenal really.

Description: Let me start with the caveat that I had a raging sinus infection when I tried this - that's right, drinking when sick; zero out of five doctors recommend it - so my notes on smell and taste may be a bit boogered up (pun intended). Appearance is slightly hazy but generally clear and golden in color. Only a trace of white head. Smell is dank and fruity. The most prominent notes I got were apple and orange with perhaps some mango. Taste was similar and the alcohol was well hidden. There isn't a bitter, hoppy punch on the finish as its dankness predominated. For an DIPA the feel is smooth with low carbonation and a medium to heavy body.

Overall: 4.25 (This beer is good and I would likely have it again) Another strong IPA from Columbus Brewing Company. For those of you familiar with the rest of CBC's lineup, I'd say this is most similar to Creeper but with a danker, fruitier palate. Nothing not to like about this, so drink without reservation if you get the opportunity.
