I got a 6pck of this from my local meijer. It poured a slightly hazy golden with white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent had faint citrus peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with citrus peel presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Pretty ordinary IPA IMO. Well crafted but pretty standard across the descriptions.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 11/21/2018. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/brready/grainy, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.4%. Overall this is an incredible IPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Amazing Galaxy, Simcoe, Chinook profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a great balanced bready malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing Midwest style example example. Loved the hop profile as expected.

Volume 1 blew me away. Best IPA I've ever had.
Volume 2 was very good, but a letdown.
Volume 3? Its good, I guess. Nothing stand out and not gonna revisit.

Mostly clear gold but with some uncharacteristically suspended sandiness and a large white foam settling to a lumpy persistent blanket leaving bubbly stalactite lacing.
Smell is spicy pine and Lemonheads with hints of slight dankness, grapefruit and cracker.
This version features a bit more pine wood and is more spicy overall with a sharper bitterness than the other two. Orange and grapefruit zests with hints of lemon and lime pop up before pine comes back in the swallow. It's pretty classic and kind of the runt of the series.
The medium-light body has a crisply light carbonation before a cleanly dry chewy finish.

12 FLUID OZ bottle
Served in an IPA glass
This beer pours amber in color with burnt orange highlights. It is topped with a couple inches of tan head that leaves some nice lacing.
The smell is medicinal to my untutored nose. It has some dank notes as well.
The taste follows the nose. I get medicinal flavors with some dankness. The is a little pine in the finish.
Medium bodied with a lighter mouthfeel
This is not my favorite of the series. I enjoy trying them all though.
