I got a 6pck of this beer from my local meijer store. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent had fresh bitter hop with subtle pine and bitter citrus. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base that provides just a tinge of marshmallow....the accents have pine resin and bitter citrus highlights. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Canned on 7/5/21. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with a subtle haze; fluffy off-white head that falls leaving great retention and sticky lacing. The aromas are on the subtle side. Hints of citrus. Lots of breads. Some caramel. Malts are there. The flavors basically follow the nose for the most part. Some grapefruit leading the way. Lots of pine. It's slightly resinous. More breads. Crackers come through. More caramel in the mix. Nice solid bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, smooth and slightly creamy.
This is a solid IPA. It's straightforward, old school, classic and traditional, and I mean that in a good way. It started off "middle of the road", but the resinous hop bitterness took it to the next level. It's enjoyable and fun to drink. Not bad at all. I really do like it and it's probably better than my "numerical score" might indicate.
