Brewed with equal parts of golden sour and apple cider from Branstool Orchards. Pours a deep, golden hue with notes of cider, stone fruit, oak and a subtle funk. Aged in oak wine barrels.

Description: Appearance is slightly cloudy and golden with no significant head and tiny bubbles trickling up. The aroma is nicely balanced and there are hints of wood (oak), bready yeast and tart fruit. The taste is similar: tart but not overwhelmingly so and doesn't drown out the apple and oak. This is a full flavored, robust beer. The feel is highly carbonated with a thin to medium body and finish that melts away.
Overall: 4.5 (This beer is very good and I would definitely drink it again) While CBC receives much notoriety for its IPAs (and deservedly so) this beer and others show that brewery is not one dimensional. It feels like the brewery really took their time with this and it shows. Great aroma, great flavors, greatly balanced. This is definitely one to try, although you may have to go the taproom to snag a bottle.
