The king of the dank side—Devil’s Kush brings the hops through a blend of Pacific Northwest hops including Simcoe, Idaho 7, Strata and Chinook. It’s intensely hoppy with subtle notes of citrus and tropical fruit backed up by a sinister 6.66% ABV.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 10/6/2025. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berries, citrus rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Taste follows with big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, wood, mint, citrus rind, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Large size pine, citrus rind, woody, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky/resinous hop mouthfeel. Fairly crisp on lingering drying resins, with minimal hop astringency. Very aggressive on oily hop resins, but still super drinkable. Very big and vibrant on hop dankness from Simcoe, Idaho 7, Mosaic, Strata, and Chinook. Definitely a large portion of chinook giving the aggressive finish. Mild juiciness behind the dankness.

Golden pour, small head, good lacing. Aroma of citrus and melon. Tropical flavors, lots of dry pine and resin hops. Super great mouthfeel. Moderate to high bitterness. Another great IPA from Columbus.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This decent little ipa pours a chill hazed golden with
a moderate head of white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin layer, and sports some nice lacing.
Nose of grapefruit, orange zest, light melon, and honey sweet malts. Flavors follow the
nose with honey sweet malts, orange zest, melon, lemon zest, and light grain notes amongst
the more pronounced grapefruit. Mouth feel is medium, medium light carbonation, smooth,
and finishing with a balanced hop and lightly sweet ending.
Overall, another good one from a solid brewery!
Cheers

12 oz can pkgd 5/13/24 into a Becker.
L: SRM 4 Pours a gentle yeasty light caramel color with a 1/4" cookie-like off white head, lush steady carbonation, head recedes to a light froth with edge froth, medium-heavy lacing with torn sheeting.
S: Grapefruit, citrus zest, a hint of pineapple, distant honey with warming.
T: Grapefruit, light orange, a trace of sweet malts, a hint of melon rind, a suggestion of white grape. Melon and grapefruit zest linger with a touch of wheat and yeast at the very end.
F: Smooth, soft almost creamy & whipped medium-bodied mouthfeel with a slightly juicy center and a medium-fast moderately drying finish.
O: I really enjoy this IPA. It leans bitter and mildly sharp. Zest & melon rind have the stage here and blend well overall. It is very good to excellent in its style.

Lively 1 finger head settles to a thick sheen. Light copper color.
Citrus aroma leaped out of the can when opened. Definitely a piney balance
Bitter dank starts with a subdued finish
Very aromatic throughout the quaff.
Very good for the style. Not overwhelming hoppy but enough to sit up and take notice.

I got a 6pck of cans of this beer from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had citrus fruit peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright sweet malt base with ripe tropical and citrus fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
