The coconut gives it a medicinal taste. Enough abv to cure me, but not enough to drink it again.

Description: This beer is a light golden color with minimal head and lacing. Somewhat hazy. The aroma is dank and musty, even "earthy", with pineapple and mango notes. The flavor is bitter and the mustiness presents as a "mold flavor" (per the wife). Coconut seems to be the driver here and fruit flavors are not very apparent. Feel is as expected - dry, with medium body and carbonation.
Overall: 3.5 (This beer is average and I would not likely drink it again) This was a miss. It was bitter and musty - I'm not sure what was "tropical" about it. You can safely pass on this one. I've had a few Bodhi varietals and this is easily the worst of them.

Classic amber but with a slightly burnt appearance and a medium haze under an off-white foam head.
The flavor profile just seemed off by being unusually nutty. Maybe the tropical aspect was aiming more for papaya? I'm not so sure, though, especially based on the description that doesn't mention it,

Similarly to another reviewer, the coconut did not mesh well at first with this world class DIPA. AT FIRST. As I got deeper into the glass, I really started to like it weirdly. This is definitely a different taste profile for an IPA, but I grew to like it. My score may not reflect that however, but that’s more a testament to how high the bar is set by the regular version of this beer.

This one isn't my favorite still but I do really appreciate they make this have at least some tropical flavors, although it's mostly toasted coconut and idk how much I like it, seems like it clashes but overall it is different.

Bodhi with toasted coconut and pineapple. Only available in Bodhi Box 12 pack. This one isn't my favorite, but might be for someone else. Toasted coconut comes through. I think it is the pineapple that doest mesh with the hops for me. But, it looks good. Has a strong smell that tells you just what it is. Taste is ok, but that is subjective. Feel is right. So it is a good beer even if I'm not a fan of the pineapple.
