Served on tap at the brewery.
Looks like a typical lager or PA, so i was a little surprised to see on BA, and confirm by tasting, that it is actually a Belgian PA. The Belgian part is impossible to miss but not overwhelming, with a mild degree of yeastiness but a moderate amount of spicing. This beer has less sweetness than usual, and is overall, more delicately flavored than other examples of the style I am familiar with. The spice profile, which seems to feature cloves, is not exactly to my taste, but otherwise, I find it easy to recommend this brew. Went well with food.

A- Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color with a thin white head. Head is gone pretty quick and leaves just a few spots here and there.
S- Smell is a bit of lemons, peppery, yeasty and grassy.
T- Taste is quite bit like the nose. A bit of lemon, grassy and bubble gum. Then I'm hit with the Beligan yeast and pepper.
M- Fairly light in body and with a good amount of carbonation.
O- I'm not sure how often I'd drink this one.

This has awesome color. Its a bright, semi hazed, glowing golden yellow. The head is pure white and fairly sticky. It doesn't last the whole glass though.
Aroma
Fruity and earthy. The fruits are of the lighter, crisp order. Some apple and pear. Lots of spice and lemony and grassy hops.
Taste
Right out of the gate this stuff is grassy and spicy. Pilsnery malts lay a clean, light base for lemon and fresh cut grass. This is quite bitter and biting for what it is.
Mouthfeel
Light bodied with a sharp, biting carbonation. Its very clean and easy drinking.
Overall
A pretty unique one from CBC. A perfect summer drinker, its clean and crisp.

Petite Blonde is the color of apple juice. Basically clear save for a faint haze. The pour was pretty weak in the pint glass with only a wispy head and a tight collar. I was able to secure a second pour in a tulip and it had a nice half inch cap of foam.
The aroma is cracklin' - I'm sure in no small part to the Sorachi Ace hops that were used. Lemon zest and a bit peppery. Hints of grass in the middle. Grainy underpinnings. Crisp, dry and punchy.
Similar to the nose in terms of vibrancy the flavors offer more complexity. Solid hop showing upfront - spicy and zesty with notions of lemongrass. Tilted a bit more toward grass. The hops taper off with a restrained bitterness. Belgian-style yeast notes pick up halfway through each sip; ripe apples and hints of bubblegum. Grainy notions on the back end. Dry and pointed throughout, it finishes the same. Hop residuals pick back up and zestiness lingers.
Light, snappy feel. Prickly carbonation is not at all lacking and sharpens the hops. Quite tingly with a slow-leaving finish.
This is really nicely done. The Sorachi Ace hops work wonders. I had no idea what to expect from this small batch offering which is being used to prime the yeast for next month's Hop Odyssey beer, Big Frank. I intend to have more before it's gone.
