Pint on cask at Bon Accord in Glasgow. Very happy to see this GBBF gold medal winner here.
Pours a straw-gold with minimal head (pour was to the rim) and lacing. Nose is a nice floral-citrus mix. Very fruity flavor with tight bitterness that prolongs a clean finish. Mouthfeel is cask...so creamy good. Overall, an excellent beer that I'd love to be able to get in London all the time.

Described as a golden ale (how do you categorise these here?) and looks that way, but smells and tastes more like an American amber, albeit with a touch of the caramel flavour often present in golden ales. It has a straw to gold colour and a very promising oily tangerine nose. Caramel and orange flavours are to the fore. There is some astringency but very little sweetness after the first sip. This is very much a hop forward beer with orange peel bitterness gradually taking over. The finish is dry.
