Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a golden burnt yellow color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that settled fairly slow to leave some light messy lace. The aroma had some berries sweet and tart qualities, light vinous/white grape, light funk, some sour, light grass, sweet wood and a little bit of floral quality at the end. The flavor was sour, funky and tart up front in the blend and then wrapped some of that grassy and sweet woodiness in underneath. Light aftertaste of the vinous/white grape. Sly woody to semi-funky finish. The palate was about medium bodied with a decent sipping quality about it. Funkiness seemed to distract just a bit, but I somewhat expected it to. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Overall, pretty good wild ale, but since I dislike overly vinous beers, this was borderline and leaves me not really desiring to come back to. Nice to try, though.

Pale orange in body with white head. Aroma of berries, peaches, nectar, sour notes, sugar cane. Tastes of sour raspberries, peaches, nectar, some slick booze in the background, some Hop presence. Medium bodied with medium carbonation.
