Canned 5/18/18, hehe "kiwi's big adventure", I do love me some kiwi
Pours a decent fizzy bubbly head that fades fairly quickly, not much retention or lacing, very hazy murky darker orange tan color
Nose big citrus and some tropical notes, little pineapple, guava, Mandarin, a little banana with creamy malt base, maybe a bit of fruity ester notes, green tropical fruits a bit pithy and earthy, also spicy, with touch of wine vinous hop notes
Taste brings more tropical fruit hops, pineapple all over, some guava, papaya, more orange flavors, Mandarin included, a little green dank tropical but not pine or onion type of dank green, more like pithy rind tropical pineapple dank papaya thing, some creamy wheat or flaked malts, again a touch of banana like ester notes, a bit of a kiwi like flavor on the back end, although that could be the vinous wine notes that also come through, drier finish, hops getting a bit more bitter and spicy as it dries, Ok I think I'm getting more of the kiwi fruit later as the big citrus pineapple and spicy hops get a little more acclimated
Mouth is med bod, decent fizzy carbonation, bit soft and juicy, little alcohol warmth as it warms
Overall not bad, nice hop profile, good tropical kiwi hops, not sure i get much kiwi but hard to pick something like that out, pretty enjoyable otherwise, but wish the various parts came together a bit more and were a little more noticeable

Murky orange milkshake with white head. Aroma of citrus, rind, pine, grass, lemon, kiwi. Tastes of citrus, rind, grass, pine, light kiwi, big hop bitterness. Thick bodied with high carbonation.

7.8 abv canned on 05/18 - 10 days old. Kiwi fruit is actually quite nice on an ipa - some pleasant tartness. But nz hops in this amount gets a little to clashing to compliment the fruit flavors. Some of the overly wine-like qualities clash as it dries on the palette in an unpleasant bitterness.

16oz can on the beach at Hermit Island.
Pours murky, opaque yellowish gold with a cream-of wheat head and nice retention. Tropical fruit with some Kiwi overtones in the nose. On the fuller side of medium bodied. Creamy with quite a fluffy, chewy, oat-laden mouthfeel. Ripe tropicals on the palate with shades of banana, lime, and grapefruit. Zero malt with minimal bitterness. Finishes with plenty of citrus and juicy hops.
Nice mix of NZ hops and Kiwi fruit but could use more Kiwi fruit.
