Pours a large frothy foamy thick 3 finger head with good retention, sticky lacing, fairly hazy golden tan to slight rosy color
Nose sweet floral water, with a big cereal grain, straw, like freshly cracked malted barley and almost biscuity bread, grassy as well, with a bit of an herbal floral hop turning a bit spicy later
Taste soft and a touch creamy, doughy malt, bready biscuity crust, cereal, straw, quite doughy but delicate, a touch fruity as well, then hops take over, herbal spicy, a bit floral, mild spice notes as well, drier finish, soft lager like, with a med bitterness lingering, spicy hops
Mouth is med to a touch lighter bod but soft, med frothy carb
Overall not bad, pretty good fit for Cali Common style, nose especially had the nice fresh malt forward, taste was there but hops got a bit aggressive but not necessarily a bad thing
