Poured into a 13 oz Weyerbacher tulip glass not when it was canned. Pours a hazy yellow, with a 2 inch sticky white head that leaves some attractive webs of lace behind.
Smell is faint mango, papaya, some pine, and a little grapefruit.
Taste follows a more aggressive, but still fairly tame mango, papaya, tangerine, a kiss of pine, and a wisker of grapefruit.
Mouthfeel is almost medium, plenty of life, I wouldn't say it is dry, and as you expect from a sesion beer excellent drinkability.
Overall this is a nice beer for, not staggering but solid. Thanks @Rcruz9230 for this one.

Picked this up at Greenpoint a few weeks back, as it's the closest place that sells cans to my garage (I'm looking at you, Transmitter!). Loved the Turbulence from the can design down to the taste and ease of enjoyment and that was the case with this as well - felt much stronger than it's session-like level of alcohol and there was much flavor and depth to be found here as well!
The pour to this was solid as the beer had a hazy, golden hue with plenty of head, a few floaties in it, and a good amount of spotty lacing left behind in my pint glass. Tons of crystalline sweetness, oats, and tropical fruit in the nose with all of those to be found in the taste as well. Slick, sweet, and nuanced, the lactose and orange combined for a creamsicle effect that almost made this feel like something from Tired Hands. Some dankness, pine, and a bit of herbs came out as this warmed up with a finish that felt like apricot or orange marmalade. It was really amazing to feel everything come together here without nothing feeling out of place!
How in the world this was a session beer was beyond me as the earthy hops, sweetness, and citrus juice all combined to give the impression that this had some potency to it. Of course, nothing could be further from the truth as this went right down without even leaving me with the slightest of buzzes. What a winner this beer was as this was good enough to put Greenpoint on the map. Brooklyn's got it going on right now and any beer crawl there wouldn't be complete without a jog along the waterfront to pick this up. Highly recommended!

Had to check the label a second time to confirm the abv on this because it drinks a lot "heavier" than the 4.8abv suggests. Big tropical flavors of grapefruit and pineapple followed by sweet malts. The only let down is the high level of carbonation. But that's not a big deal. Pretty decent effort, quite enjoyed it.

Bought a 4-pack of cans from the brewery today (1/22/17) 2 days after can release. Poured into a Teku glass.
I was surprised at how aromatic this beer was- I was expecting something with a drier, breadier nose but the aroma is full of tropical fruit, and pine. The beer is super clean and slightly creamy, really, really smooth- I assume this is where the 40% oats in the bill come in, as well as the added lactose. On the palate, there's pomelo, nectarine and some light tropical tones. Overall, this is just a really complex, interesting and utterly unique pale ale.
This is only the second beer I've had from Greenpoint but both have been v impressive.

The beer offers upfront some sweet tropical fruits, grapefruit, marmalde, pineapple, pine, a light bready sweetness, onto lots of spicy herbaceous sitting on the palate with a dry pine needle bitterness.
A really refreshing pale ale that transitions well on hop flavors. Although brewed with 40% oats, it is smooth, not necessarily as creamy and doughy as other familiar New England style pale ales.
