Our Oktoberfest is inspired by the classic Märzenbier of Bavarian tradition. Served annually at Oktoberfests the world over, the Märzen is amber in color, brilliantly clear, and deliciously malty and complex, all while remaining crisp and supremely drinkable.

Pours a hazy (despite claims on the can) dark amber, brief 1" head that quickly settles out to a sparse cap. Nose is roasted malt, caramel, brown bread, light spice. Taste is raw brown sugar, yeast notes, caramel, evaporated milk; the sugar really lingers here, so only an option if you want a sweeter take on the style. Mouthfeel is full with very light carbonation. Flavor is clean, lots of sugary notes, but lacks depth and balance.

A: The beer is crystal clear dark coppery amber in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of caramel and toasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste is a bit sweet and has flavors of caramel and toasted malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied and very clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This lager really showcases the aromas and flavors of the malts and has just enough sweetness before it would be considered cloying.
