I know you're afraid, just hold my hand. Bright and tropical notes in this imperial IPA with plenty of exotic, floral and citrus aromas. You don't have to go at it alone, use the buddy system. Take a deep breath, place your right foot in front of your left, steady now.

For a beer with such an odd name, this wasn't that much of a deviant from the norm. Sure, it was more floral and full o yeast than I would have liked but in the end, this was something that called out to be enjoyed on a spring day out by the barn out back, with some flowers in hand...
Not a bad pour to this as the liquid was golden, muted, and hazy. More than enough head topped this off but there wasn't anything impressive left behind when it came to the lacing. Tons of Saint-Germain like floral notes to this along with honey, honeysuckle, and bramble berry in the nose and taste. Floral, sweet, and slick, this tasted like Hallertau and was quite European in it's demeanor. Nothing to be afraid of here, though this was quite floral and grassy, which might have come across as offensive to this not accustomed to beer like this...
Plenty of booze in this though it was more noticeable to the feel than in the taste. If you like your beers more European in taste and texture, than this would certainly be for you. While not for everyone, I enjoyed this and how easygoing it was. Plenty of tropical fruit and citrus pith lingered in the aftertaste, as a reminder than indeed, this was an American-style Double / Imperial IPA. Just give this time to warm up, to fully enjoy all that it has to offer!

First pour is a hazy pale golden straw with a finger of white head, subsequent pours are filled with particulate. Aroma is citrusy with some stone fruits and a tropical note. Citrus and tropical fruit dominate the taste with a touch of candied pineapple, very tasty. Light-medium bodied with moderate-ish carbonation. Overall I found this to be exceptionally tasty, if it weren't for the over abundance of "floaties" this would be top tier.

Fantastic dipa, with a nice cap of white foam, hazy golden body - but not super murky or muddy. Minimal lace. Highly aromatic with citrus and overall fruity notes, vaguely dank, with flavor following the nose closely. Lovely hit of sweet citrus fruits up front, more subtle resinous, dank character opening up behind, moderate to low bitterness but enough lingering behind on the tongue so that you never forget this is an imperial IPA. Pleasant, faint alcohol note. Medium body and carbonation, slightly on the light side, which aides drinkability. Really impressive, these disappeared from shelves with alacrity.

Bright and crisp with a subtle punch of alcohol. The beer smells very citrusy like mango and pineapple with a nice hop finish that is strong but not overly bitter. It is an excellent beer, easy drinking and perfect for warm weather.
