It pours a somewhat opaque hazy golden color. The soapy head stuck around for a while but didn't leave a ton of lacing.
The nose brings massive grapefruit notes along with fresh grass clippings and a bit of floral character.
The taste is also dominated by grapefruit. Wallops of big juicy grapefruit notes are prominent throughout the tasting experience.
This beer is dank as hell too, though. The juice is countered by a megadank raw hop bite and a lot of bitterness for a DDH lupulin powder IPA (I'm not complaining...the bitterness REALLY works). There's a very subtle bready malt backbone and the mouthfeel is medium at best. Overall, I really like this earthy juicy grapefruit bomb.

Picked this up way back when at Greenpoint, finally getting around to it on this snowy night. Sure, in some alternative universe I end up with the person I love with the career I've slaved away for in the place I'm supposed to be at but in *this* universe, none of that's taken place. Thankfully, a beer like this exists in this one and I'm happy to say that it's nearly enough to make up for my shortfalls in this life, one sip at a time!
Lovely pour to this as the liquid was a hazy gold with a slight luminescence to it, topped off with plenty of soapy head. Much of that stuck around on the side of my pint glass as I worked my way through this, with a fat half-circle of along along the middle of the back side. Lots of melon, tangerine, oats, and earthy hops in the subdued nose as they fully emerged in the taste. Soft, slick and slightly sweet, this had a wonderful taste that even contained some weed, chocolate, earthiness, deep forest, citrus sweetness and butterscotch that was amazingly varied and cohesive at the same time. Fullness from the oats lasted throughout as this went down so easily, without ever feeling too strong or contrived.
The amount of alcohol in this was perfect as a slight warming effect took hold but I never felt that the booze overshadowed everything else that was going on here. This was one of those beers that crept up on you - simple at the onset but so deep when all was said and done. Each successive beer that i've had from Greenpoint has impressed me more and more this was possibly the best that I've to date - enough so to make me nearly stop lamenting how things could have gone had I ended up in another dimension.

Golden color and lightly hazed, with a few fingers of head and sparse lace trails... Fruity and citric aromas, with hints of pine and both floral and herbal elements... On the tongue lots of juiciness and moderate sweetness; nice taut bitterness cuts through the sugars and keeps it lean... Medium-light feel and ample carbonation... A real winner...
