Picked this up a while ago at Greenpoint, finally getting around to it this week. There wasn't anything in particular that stood out to me about this but it was a solid brew from top to bottom with plenty of citrus, haze, and tropical notes as this was just a bit too heavy and murky for me...
Very murky, off-almond or nutty hue to the liquid as it was just a bit too faded for me to rate any higher. Plenty of head as usual to top it off but the lacing was nearly nonexistent outside of a faint ring at the top of my pint glass. Lots of mango and papaya in the nose as this came off as incredibly soft. That was the case with the taste too with some resin, tangerine pith, and elderflower in the mix as well. The floral tone got heavier as this warmed up and as I had more and more of it, with the end result being a lot more of a dank forest feel when I finally finished this off. Basic malt, an oat-like chewiness, and moderate carbonation kept this in line as the aftertaste was not terribly noticeable in any aspect.
Plenty of booze here though I never really tasted it and the warming effect was chill, like the liquid itself. Not a winner or a loser, this was just a solidly crafted beer that was nice to sit back and relax to. Of course, this is what Greenpoint is incresingly getting good at as they haven't brewed anything bad to date!

Look: Beautiful, head turning hazy. Unforgettable.
Smell: Sweet citrus and pine, like sitting beneath a mango tree or, dare I say, breathing in day 1hair.
Taste: Exceptional. Like a reluctant panther, I could return return to this beer 4, even 5 times per day.
Feel: Voluminous. Like a shampoo model's hair. One could could get lost in the feel.
Overall: Best beer I've ever had. If I never have another one of these, I will have no regrets. This is the complete package.
