Double IPA that'll knock your socks off. Notes of pine, dank dro, and grape candy. Brewed with Pearl, a touch of Vienna for color and toastiness, malted wheat, and oats. Hopped with Mosaic, Simcoe lupulin powder, and El Dorado. Double dry hopped with Simcoe, El Dorado, and Mosaic lupulin powder.

Picked this up at Greenpoint months ago and finally got around to it tonight. Love the can design with the fermentation and brain wave data meshed together on it, and the liquid inside was just as wondrous and beautiful as well. Incredibly soft for a beer of this type, the subtle complexities of this really came through as this warmed up.

Nice pour to this as the liquid was blonde, waxy, and had just a bit of sediment in it (through no fault of Greenpoint!). Plenty of fluffy head topped it off and there was a good amount of lacing spotty lacing down the side of my pint glass as I worked my way through it. Lots of tangerine, some floral notes, oats, and dry cheese in the nose as the taste really improved upon the initial aroma. Smooth from start to finish, there were hop oils, resin, tropical notes, mild dankness, and melon in there as well as this was amazingly bright and deep with an underlying piney, dank underbelly that grew as this warmed up. The wheat gave this body and the slickness was possibly the best that I've ever had from a beer from this brewer.

Just as astounding was the perceived lack of alcohol in this. Sure, it's there but with so much going on, it was nearly impossible to pick out. Among their best, I loved this and how easily it went down. Only a faint caramel stickiness was what I could feel from the toastiness but overall, this was an American Double / Imperial IPA that held it's own among more well-known examples. An extremely solid brew all-around!

Poured from a 16oz can into a Speiglau IPA glass.

Look is a completely hazy orange yellow and a frothy bubbly head.

Aroma is complex and amazing. Aroma is juicy and pithy with a little dankness almost cheesy. Makes you so happy to smell.

Taste is a smooth juicy hop with some bitter citrus peel at the end. A little of that dankness through out.

So good.
