A: The beer is quite hazy yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of melons are present in the nose—cantaloupes seem to stand out in particular.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of flavors of melons along with hints of green apples and biscuit malts.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is an interesting beer. As a dry hopped Kölsch, it's more like a hybrid between this style and a New England-style IPA.
