A: The beer is quite hazy yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high white head that faded away, levin only a thin ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of honeydew melon are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a mixture of cantaloupe and honeydew melons. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and slightly smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this beer to be quite unique for an Imperial IPA as it was packed with aromas and flavors of melons and did a very good job of hiding any traces of alcohol from the taste.

a really juicy and delicious can of ipa here, huge thanks to my brother for sharing this one and a whole lot of others like it. in a session where we tasted more than a handful of hazy east coast ipa types, this one was the standout for both of us, tropical but not forced, really hoppy obviously, but extremely well balanced at the same time. amazing hop field here too, from bright intense citrus like kumquat or even buddhas hand citron, to kiwi fruit and melon, oily and sweet but also soft in feel for being as high dosed as it is and for being a double ipa. good body from the malt, but its really dry, more earthy and bready than sweet or toasted or anything, wheaty to me, fluffy feeling, super bubbly, alive, and fresh. citrus through the finish, cantaloupe, even strawberry in here, its awesome. i get some mosaic i think, some southern hemisphere wine and peach notes to it as well. my first beer from these guys, overall really awesome stuff, super on trend but different from a lot of the wannabes. i will look forward to more from these guys, this can was next level absolutely! i could drink a ton of these too, no sign of its strength at all.
