In Dutch, "Lekker" (lek-ker), is something that is "tasty, easy or awesome." We use this word to describe our latest beer and to pay tribute to the earliest settlers of Greenpoint circa 1640.

Our pilsener is brewed with Bavarian grains and finished with Hallertau and Tettnanger hops for a clean, crisp and refreshing "Lekker" experience!

Look: Almost entirely see through yellow gold body. Nice white head and thick lacing down the glass.

Smell: Grassy hops, grandpa's attic, wet straw.

Taste: Floral, chamomile, cracker, medium bitterness.

Feel: Medium to full body for a pilsner, good carbonation, filling yet refreshing.

Overall: Nothing bad to say here at all. If you gave me this without saying where it was from, I would guess German for sure, so I think that means they're hitting what they're going for.

A: The beer is crystal clear dark golden yellow in color and has a high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high white head that has good retention properties and never completely faded away.
S: Light to moderate aromas of herbal hops are present in the nose along with notes of pilsener malts.
T: The taste follows the smell and starts out with a moderately strong dose of herbal hops that transitions to flavors of pilsener malts with hints of floral hops. There is a light amount of accompanying bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation and dryness in the finish.
O: The taste of this beer has a nice balance between the herbal hops and pilsener malts.
