Pours a hazy orange with a moderately large frothy white head. Good retention and yields many layers of sticky lacing.
The nose is very fruity and increasingly dank. Notes of guava, lime, mango, lemon, peach and candied orange. Pungent and herbal aromas evoke, peppery hops, chives, grass and cannabis.
The palate is very juicy yet has a spicy dryness to it that balances it really well. Tropical notes of mango, guava, papaya and pineapple interplay with bright flavors of lime, tangerine, grapefruit and peach. The malt profile is somewhat biscuity and semi creamy and supports strong herbal spices of pine resin, pepper, grass and chives; somewhat bitter. The finish is very juicy, yet, appropriately dry and with spicy notes of alcohol and earthy hops.
Medium to full bodied with a good drinkability. The mouthfeel was semi crisp with moderate carbonation.
Solid DIPA that has a nice lightness and drinkability to it, well spiced, juicy and very dank. I would have again.
