Like the zwickelbier of tradition, ours is unfiltered and pale gold in color, with a crisp, malty base. Small additions of Hallertau Mittelfruh hops offer a touch of bitterness and whiffs of noble spice character.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of yeast are present in the nose along with notes of bready malts.
T: The taste is nearly a mirror image to the smell, except that the yeast flavors are a bit stronger.
M: It feels medium-bodied and slightly "chewy" on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is packed with lots of aromas and flavors of yeast and is a good American representation of this German beer style.
