My final sampling (hopefully not forever) of Serbian brewery Kabinet. Pablo pours a copper/amber hazy color with a moderately large head that shows decent retention by way of a creamy film.
The caramel malt sweetness tends to dominate in both aroma and flavor. It imparts a silky and creamy medium bodied feel along with a gentle carbonation. There is a subdued hops profile that is tea like. Surprisingly little bitterness.
Overall I liked this brew for its malt character. I only question its designation as an IPA due to the low hops profile. Perhaps it's better classified as a malt forward APA.
