Another good brew from Serbian micro brewery Kabinet. Single Hop Citra-debatable whether it's an APA or IPA- pours a hazy straw orange with a moderate sudsy head. Retention is average as it soon dissipates and leaves ultra thin lacing.
My favorite attribute of this brew is possibly the delicious fruity bouquet emanating from the citra hops. This includes hints of apricot blood orange, red grapefruit and mango, overall, a pleasant fragrance of citrus and tropical. Furthermore, a modest helping of dank hops adds a nice subdued pungent quality.
The taste features the citra hops as its centerpiece, with grapefruit pith, especially, leading the way. There is also light pine. Medium bodied with a silky, smooth and soft malt texture. The carbonation is also soft. Juicy but with some dryness.
I really enjoyed this brew especially its focus on a single hop profile. Delicious and drinkable. I hope this brewery comes to America.
