Bottle handed to me by Neven from Croatia who's been doing a tour of the Rocky Mountain region.
330ml bottle, best before August 27th 2020. So it's pretty darned fresh.
It pours a lightly hazed pale gold, has oodles of foam with excellent lacing.
The smell has herbal hop notes, lots of citrus, very fruity, some grass and some toasted malt. Excellent nose.
Hoppy taste but there's a nice balance going on. Citrus and some melon meet caramel malt and toasted malt. Little bit of dankness going on but it's well within my comfort zone. It has that certain hoppy goodness that I always have trouble describing but I always favour it. You have to try it to understand what I am saying.
Slick and juicy mouthfeel, I like the lower level of carbonation.
This is a really excellent DIPA American style. No alcohol to be dealt with. Just pure DIPA enjoyment.
