Italian doppio malto brewed with Perle, Mittelfrueher and Cascade hops.
Clear orange pour, huge three finger white fluffy head, not in any rush to go away and leaves lots of honeycomb traces in the glass.
Smells like a pale malted lager, some extra lemon peel, faint grapefruit and a touch of caramel and biscuit.
Taste starts with citrus (orange, lemon, faint grapefruit), with lots of bitter peel, faint pineapple, shows some light biscuity malts and faint caramel in the middle, and ends with green leafy hops, with a nice floral note.
Very light body, very effervescent. Has the body of a champagne (thus, burpy), almost as dry also, but not quite there. Keeps the alcohol away also.
Worked well with cheesy pasta. Nice show of Cascade hops (mostly), refreshing, no complexity, good.
