Very nicely blanced Gose with just the right amount of koriander, salt and tartness to make it a light still tasty refreshing offering. Delicately balanced!

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that died down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge of the glass and some small patches of bubbles on the surface.
S: Light aromas of lemongrass are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has delicate flavors of lemongrass along with hints of coriander spices.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a little tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink and has refreshing flavors of lemongrass. I didn't notice any saltiness.

"This Gose is a collaboration beer brewed with our close neighbours Loch Fyne Oysters. Designed as the perfect beer to pair with their world famous smoked salmon. Tart and salty with herbal and citrus notes from the addition of coriander and lemongrass, this beer is zesty and refreshing on its own while pairing wonderfully with the rich and smoky flavours of the fish."

Bottle from Valhallas Goat, Glasgow. BBE 09/2017, so another 18 month BBE

Pours clear pale gold, nice two finger head.

Light, airy aroma , you can smell the lemongrass, pear drops,

Initial hit of lemony sherbet, lemongrass again and the coriander, then the salty lemon hits which leads to dryness then the well rounded bready malt comes in. Aftertaste is a bit lemon jiff though - seems a bit fake if you get my meaning. No bitterness that I can tell.

I'd like to try this with food, would be excellent imo .
