440ml can from Fyne Ales Brewery Taproom (£3.30):
Pale straw with a half cm, bubbly white head, average to poor retention & some visible carbonation but very light. More citrus notes than expected; some dry, light hops too & pale malts/biscuit notes. It's sharp & quite a clean taste with lighter citrus than the nose, grassy hops & subtle pine with a biscuit malt finish. Sessionable & balanced with a light body & good carbonation.

This is a lovely, smashable take on the classic German Helles style. Perfect for an afternoon session, an evening session...or any other kind of session for that matter. Well balanced and crisp with the organic notes of a classic German lager. The fruity new-world hop combine to give with a refreshing underlying bitterness. Easy going and not overpowering - means you can have a few of these!
