Had it on cask at Ginger man, NYC.
Pours a clear copper color with a placid looking creamy thumbnail length head. Good retention with a still looking film, some lacing, both evoking a sense of serenity.
The aromas emit fruitiness, with peach and apricot dominant, as well as tropical notes. A mild touch of herbal dank, not quite West Coast AIPA pungent, yet still makes a subtle appearance.
Wow this is smooth! It is creamy gentle, and with a low carbonation from the cask, absolutely lovely. There is a prominent sweetness that evokes caramel and toffee, yet, finely balanced. There is a soft and slightly biscuity malt base. The finish is easy, semi dry and displays a mild hops bitterness. Hops flavors emit apricot, peach and the softest touch of grass. The body is medium.
What a delightful, gentle and pleasant IPA that blends a British malt feel with American style hops.

Handpump halfpint at the Rake.

A: Clear pale amber body under a thin, persistent off-white head. Nice lace.

S: Pretty even balance of bready malt and fruity, tropical hops. Solid.

T: Follows the nose precisely. Fruity hops up front followed by mildly sweet malt. Bittersweet finish with a long, drying aftertaste. Tasty but a bit too sweet.

M: Soft, well-carbonated medium body. Excellent.

O: I think this would have been better on tap - the hops were lovely, but got overshadowed by the slick sweetness of the malts. Still a very good beer, but not quite outstanding for the style.

Cheers!

Pale bronze with lumpy snow white froth that speckles.
Crazy funky fresh Citra grapefruit that you can smell from across the room
with mango and shortbread underneath.
Butter cookie and papaya malts with luscious orange sorbet and pink
grapefruit hops with some pine needle in there, too.
Orange Swedish fish finish and endlessly long citrus peel bitterness that
manages to still be gentle. Medium, chewy, soft, very creamy, a bit oily
but drinks light.

Along with Sublime Stout, part of a series of limited releases in 750ml flip-top bottles.

Knockout. Cascade in here, but Fyne wields Citra like a lightsabre and the
"krausened for a champagne mouthfeel" ain't no lie. So citrussy, so smooth.
I've paid less for bottles this size imported from the US, but so worth it.
