Pours deep brown with a tall creamy mocha head that lingers in the glass.
Aroma is slightly sweet, roasted coffee, chocolate, with a slight hop presence.
Taste is roasted malts with a heavier chocolate presence than the nose led me to expect. A bit of bitter coffee and hops balance it out perfectly.
Creamy and smooth. A perfect example of the style. Full bodied, which has me thinking more stout than porter. I certainly recommend this one to anyone who has the chance to try it.
