Cloudy burnt orange color. Not much head to speak of, other than some white wisps.
Spicy, clove, some fruit (banana?) and alcohol aroma. A bit muted.
Spices dominate the taste of this beer, followed by dry yeast. Light citrus flavors and a bit of honey sweetness in the end.
Body seems just right. A really refreshing beer given the 7% which just doesn't show up.
Overall its an interesting representation of the style. Personally I prefer Tripels on the sweeter side rather than the spicer side. That isn't a knock on this beer because it is made well.
