Red and pale malted wheat, aromatic hops, lemon grass and orange peel gives this ale a unique twist on classical wheat beers. The addition of blood oranges late in the brewing process yields an unmistakable conflict of sweet and tart, resulting in an amazingly enjoyable beer.

Pours hazy pale gold. Thick, medium, white head that lasts a while.
Smells wheat, orange, lemon, malty and light grassiness.
Tastes sweet orange, lemon, malty and light grassiness. Finish is semi sweet with orange and citrus linger and light yeast. Lighter medium body and fizzy medium carbonation.

Very nice cloudy orange hues, with a thick, fluffy white head that won't quit. The nose is more wheat than citrus, though they're well-blended. The taste is pretty glorious, frankly; plenty of hearty wheat and malts, but prominent citrus sweetness, particularly on the back end. Hearty, thick mouthfeel completes a very nice beer that I'd specifically seek out.
