Look: It pours very dark brow with a brown head and good head retention.
Smell: It has roasted aromas with citrus and grapefruit. There is a spiciness to it from the rye. There are some low chocolate undertones.
Taste: It has roasted flavors with citrus and grapefruit. There is a spiciness that is associated with rye. It also has some bready background note and a slight bit of dankness.
Feel: It has a medium full body with hop and malt bitterness in the finish.
Overall, a nice strong black IPA enhanced by rye malts.
