Had it on Tap at Pacific's in Houston Texas. This is a great beer, looking at the reviews I was lucky to get a glass in 2018!

Had on tap at Antebellum in Weatherford, TX in a 10oz snifer. Two fingers of dark tan head that diminishes slowly and leaves moderate lacing. This beautiful beer is pitch black. On the nose i get caramel, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, but could be a bit more pronounced in my opinion. Taste is on point - bitter coffee, baker's cocoa, ending with vanilla - surprisingly sweet on the back end - very pleasent aftertaste that sticks around for a good while. Wonderful complexity in this beer. Moderate carbonation leaves a slightly acidic mouthfeel with moderate alcohol presence just for a moment, but this is quickly counteracted by the delicious beer swarming and bubbling into a type of sweet fire extinguisher resulting in an incredibly silky smooth mouthfeel. Overall, for having 13% ABV, this a wonderfully well crafted imperial stout that is quite an easy drinker. Highly recommended to RIP fans. Props to Cobra brewing.

The pour was great. Inky black out of the growler. Thin brown head develops and a thin film sticks around leaving specks on my plastic cup. #properglassware
Fudge, bourbon, vanilla, sweet, roast and a little woody.
Some alcohol warmth. This is some decadent slow sipping dessert beer. Bourbon and chocolate are prevalent. Vanilla sweetness and roasty coffee.
Body is full bodied with medium carbonation to make it not feel too heavy.
Never had anything from these guys but this beer sounded too good to pass up. Good adjuncty imperial stout.
