Jet black pour, no leakage around the edges whatsoever, rich tan head. Stone fruit and some char/dark chocolate dominate the nose, but the coconut creeps into the party, too.
The taste is heavy with the stone fruit and dark chocolate, and the coconut is present as a slightly astringent flavor. If this was a little creamier, it would be a beer worthy of standing in a line.

First tried this one last year and thought it was unremarkable. Saw it again in cans and decided to give it another try. Pours dark, fairly flat. Smells awesome, loaded with chocolate, coffee and coconut. Tastes much better than last year, you can really get the coconut in the flavor this time. Its lot like a dry Russian Imperial Stout version of Death by Coconut (which is a porter). Not as approachable as the latter however which is almost like drinking Mounds candy lol. This one is for dry stout enthusiast. Despite having the heavy coconut flavor its not too sweet. Look forward to future iterations.

Told this one is pure coconut delight. And while I'm a huge fan of coconut, I still hope this one turns out good and balanced.
Jet black in color with a very fine, dark tan froth.
Caramel, milk chocolate and coconut to the front and center aroma-wise.
A frontal assault of chocolate and coconut milk hit the taste buds. Notes of chopped coconut, grain and faint herbal hops work themselves in.
Creamy all the way and leans more toward medium than heavy. Some medicinal elements creep in as it goes. Any noticeable alcohol heat is covered up by the coconut sweetness.
Not a bad outing, but needs some guts and a bit of cleaning up.
