Sports bar with average tasting beer. Nothing special.

Decent vibe, lots of tourist now. Quality of beer is just OK, tap list is stacked with many options. Service was great, very friendly, selection was good and food was great.

In Orlando for a conference, not a lot of choices for brew pubs in the area. Sea Dog met my needs, however most anywhere else this place would not be on my list of recommended stops.

Lots of choices but of the five beers I sampled, couldn't finish one and three others would never order again. This is what happens with limited competition and not being dependent on repeat business.

Did have great service and lots of TVs to catch a game, but the beers are mediocre at best.

Visited in October 2014, on a Wednesday evening. Had made an online reservation, but it clearly wasn't needed, as the place was nowhere near full. Told them we had a reservation, but they didn't bother checking any list to cross it off. There was a guy singing and playing guitar. He was very good. Otherwise, ambiance was about average/a little above average as brewpubs go. Clean and well lit, but not too bright.

Prices were great. 1/2 price appetizers and pints for happy hour.

Service was outstanding. Our server was Sarah, who was very enthusiastic about describing the beers. They have these cool sampler hole trays where the server writes the beer names in chalk, rather than the tired old placemat format. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Bartender (I forget his name) was personable and seemed to really enjoy his job.

Sampled many Sea Dog and Shipyard beers. Best of the lot was Shipyard Blue Fin Stout, a surprisingly good Dry Irish Stout. The beers ranged from excellent to poor. Staying positive, I recommend trying the Sea Dog Old East India Pale Ale and the Sea Dog Old Gollywobbler Brown Ale.

Food was variable. I had the Irish Meatballs, which were excellent. Also tasted the pulled pork nachos, which were tasty, but not awesome. The wife reported that the humus was bland. In all cases, the food (and the beers) were served very quickly after ordering.

I'd recommend the place to anyone visiting Kissimmee/Orlando. There's not a whole lot else going on brewpub-wise in the area, except for BJ's. And Cigar City is over an hour away.

I was in the area for business, and was going to head to the Irish pub next door but decided to give this place a try. I should have stuck with the pub.

The place is actually pretty nice. There is some decent atmosphere with a large open area and plenty of outdoor seating. They had corn hole set up outside but nobody was playing. The bar area was stacked from wall to wall for Happy Hour where the beers and the food are cheap.

I was a bit confused that this was a Sea Dog brewpub but they are also a Shipyard brewpub, or something like that. They had 2 Sea Dog beers, 4 Shipyard beers, and about 6 or 7 others. Service was okay but nothing great.

The real horror was the food. They had some happy hour appetizer specials, so I chose the BBQ nachos. I have sent food back maybe twice in my life; I eat pretty much anything no matter how horrible. But, I had to send the nachos back. They were obviously bagged, and stale. The BBQ was the worst I have ever tasted. I don't know if canned BBQ is on the market, but if it is, this was it. The salsa looked like ketchup and tasted like tomatoes run through a dirty gym sock. I took two bites and pushed the plate away. The tender asked if I wanted to try anything else and I said "No thank you", even though I was starving. After some prodding, I chose the hummus. Another mistake. This was barely edible, so I indulged. The hummus was basically smashed up garlic with a ladle of oil on top. The bread actually tasted decent, so I ate all of that but left about half of the hummus.

I am not an Orlando regular but have been there many times. The beer was pretty good for the area, but the food is horrific. Go for maybe a beer and then go to the Irish Pub (which I haven't even been to, but it cant be worse) for the food.
