Citra Pale

I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.

Appearance: nice golden hue with a touch of haze and a thin layer of frothy ivory foam. A good lace is left on the glass, though, which I dig.

Smell: fruity, earthy and a little citrusy. A decent pale ale aroma, if not especially complex.

Taste: citrusy, piney and earthy; there's a nice complexity of hop flavor here. I really like it.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a huge carbonation and a concomitantly good creaminess. A very nice texture for the style.

Overall: a good example of a Citra pale ale. While the aroma doesn't quite bring it, the flavor is rich and complex. I dig it.
