Moderate head that settles to a thin level of bubbles. Great ring lace after each sip. Dark gold color with a haze.

Floral hop nose. Kinda covers up the malt, but still very attractive.

This is a highly hopped APA. The body is full with a moderate level of effervescence. The straight up bitter swallow leads to a long bitter aftertaste. Hop lovers should seek this out.

64 oz growler was poured into a pint glass.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a pale yellow orange color with good clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing down the glass as the beer was drank too.

Smell: Sauvignon grapes, tropical, mango, and hrassy hops followed by biscuity, toasted, and pale malts.

Taste: Nice subtle Nelson hop flavors with a complimentary malt backbone in the rear. Some chewy and bitterness in the rear too.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied, crisp, refreshing, medium carbonation, a little chewy, and light bitterness.

Overall: Good to have visited these guys while on our little Eastern shore brewery tour of Redhook, Stonefsce, Smuttynose, and Earth Eagle. Looking forward to more of this beer in the near future and a new pit stop on the way up to OOB too.

Tasty pale ale, with a yeasty twinge that I normally don't prefer but this is well done. Every beer I've tried from their crew has been very good, can't wait for the next one.

Very crisp pale ale. Brewed with English Ale yeast that accentuates the Nelson perfectly. Nicely balanced.
