Just a “blip” on the hop radar, our take on a low ABV IPA highlights the citrusy, lemon characteristics of Mosaic without overpowering the palate.

This is a very fine IPA. Pours a routine hazy orange yellow with an inch head and leaves a nice lacing. Smells very tropical with a strong scent of peach as well. A sweet smelling beer. Tastes clean and crisp with that peachy flavor coming in for the aftertaste.

A: Pours a lightly hazy yellow color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a nice cap that leaves good lacing
S: Citrus and herbal hop notes up front, leaning a little to the dank side. Some light malt in there as well
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the citrus and herbal hops with some dank and earthy undertones. Malt balances nicely. Finishes with lingering herbal notes
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation
O: A solid “little” IPA that drinks very easily, with moderate bitterness and balance. Could session this easily. Check it out

A little light and could be a little smoother. Grapefruit dominates.

16 oz can marked "KARL MALONE THE MAILCAN 7-24-18"
Hazy peach color with a fluffy white head. Head drops to a ring and a skim and does not leave much lace.
Scent is... subdued. Apricot? Or peach? Something vaguely tropical?
Taste is also somewhat subdued. A hint of fruit sweetness. Muddled tropical fruit. Papaya if I had to guess. Some lemon / lime. A slight bitterness.
Mouth is a little thin. The carbonation is a bit harsh to my taste.
I'm a little disappointed. At 5.8% ABV it's not a low alcohol session IPA but it sort of drinks like one. Compare Banded Brewing's 'Wheat and Potatoes' at 4.1%ABV which shows more hop aroma and flavor in my opinion.

Poured a 16oz can into a tulip shaped pint glass: color is murky orange juice like, golden straw but dense; head is off white with fine bubbles, head presents about 1/2 inch deep but dissipates to a thin top with some lacing and a ring along the glass sides.
Smell is heavy dry hopped mosaic aroma - a heavy dose of papaya, pepper, and mint blended together with some grassy notes. It is a strong aroma that is not bad I just don't find it pleasant.
Taste follows the aroma with bit hit of tropical fruit, papaya heavy with mint and grass, but it thins out quickly with not much malt backbone. I do find hints of oat or biscuit but the dry hopping flavors dominate.
For such a lower abv IPA or higher abv session IPA the mouthfeel seems to thin but a bit harsh with the heavy mosaic flavors. There is a lingering drying with bittering component that overtakes your tongue and lingers with the hop flavors.
Overall this light NEIPA seems to straddle to many identities (IPA, NEIPA, and session IPA) and neither one seems to present well to me - heavy mosaic dry hopping leaves some less than enticing aroma, taste, and mouthfeel qualities and the thin malt profile does not leave a backing for that late-boil and dry hopping profile.

Served in a glass at the Stoneface Brewing Company in Newington, New Hampshire.
A: Pours a hazy, golden orange color very akin to orange juice, with a white head displaying low retention and only soapy lacing.
S: Light aromas of peach, mango and citrus.
T: Fruity flavor a melange of peach and pineapple, resiny. Low bitterness. Very refreshing and crisp.
M: Light bodied with low to moderate carbonation.
O: A light bodied, refreshing IPA closer to the EC variety. Like Full Blip, but flavor more in the pitted to tropical fruit spectrum. Again, a positive change from a typically loud, spicy NEIPA.
