Traditional German wheat ale that is kettle soured for a tart flavor profile and thirst quenching finish. Using in-season blackberries, this variant is loaded with bright berrry flavor and pours a deep pinkish hue.

Canned 9/11/20
Even by weisse standards, this is a low alcohol brew. I’m hoping for maximum refreshment with this one, which would be ideal since I just finished a workout. There’s not really much to say here though so let’s just get into it
Pours an opaque purple with a finger of pink tinted white head that very quickly fades to a thin ring and leaves no lacing
I've never had an un-fruited weisse, but the nose almost suggests that up front. It's more wheat forward than anything. I'm picking up on notes of earthy wheat, lightly spicy corander, soft bready malt, blackcurrant, and a touch of lemon
The flavor presents more berry than the nose led me to believe. On the front end I'm tasting light raspberry, soft wheat, and tart lemon. The swallow brings the fruit in full force for a brief second, bringing forth notes of juicy blackberry, raspberry, sweet strawberry, a hint of orange, and a soft bready malt to hold it together
A light medium body pairs with tingling carbonation for a smooth and refreshing beer. Finishes mostly dry but a touch thin
Well, I got pretty much what I expected out of this beer. It is uber-refreshing and light in flavor. For what it is, it's good, but nothing special. I could throw a few back on a summer day

Can from the Packie,
Slightly cloudy brick red with a hint of purple and a good sized but short lived pink tinged head. The nose initially has a hint of parmesan but that dissipated quickly. Light lemon lots of berry but surprisingly could use a bit more tartness.
