Pours very opaque dark brown near black - impressive at its low abv - and has a big large-bubbled cap that fades slowly to a ring, but leaves ample lacing along the way. Aromas are decent roasty malt, lactose sweetness, cocoa, and whatever that fake peanut butter stuff is that seems common to all brewers' attempt at this combo. Flavor follows exactly. Tasty, and makes me really want the choc milk stout sans PB. Super smooth medium mouthfeel, and neither dry nor cloying finish that's fairly clean. Good stuff.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours an opaque deep cola brown color with a finger of exceedingly effervescent tan head. Held up to the light, this looks like straight butt sauce, with plenty of sludge at the bottom of the glass. The head is gone instantly and leaves no lacing along the way. Gross.
The aroma comes exactly as advertised: Chocolate and Peanut butter. There's a faint hint of hops on the back but it's just drowned out by peanut butter. Smells pretty much exactly like a Nutty Bar.
The flavor is a bit more "beer-like", bringing notes of roasted coffee, biscuits and milk chocolate before a peanut butter assault on the palate. Surprisingly well-balanced.
The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Very creamy and chewy, and the peanut butter lingers on the palate for days.
Overall, this is a beer that looks like ass juice, but ultimately isn't bad at all. It comes exactly as advertised. You want chocolate and peanut butter? Well here you go. There isn't much beyond that but good beer doesn't have to have a million different notes to be good. This is a flavorful and drinkable stout.
