Pours a hazy yellowish color with a 1F head and moderate lacing.

Smells of mildly piney hops with citrus and sweet fruit.

Tastes of lightly tart grapefruit, with lightly sweet orange, pineapple and mango with a lightly bitter finish.

Medium light body with light carbonation. Oats in the mash smooth and dry mouthfeel.

This is a very juicy and drinkable brew that has mild mannered and balanced sweet and bitter tastes.

From a 16oz can, dated 04/21/23. Served in a Stoneface-branded willi becher glass.

Pours a moderately hazy dull orange-gold with a finger-plus of soft soapy suds. Retention is excellent, leaving a thin curtain of foamy lacing.

Nose is yeasty, bready. Aroma of yeasty bread roll and pear,

Taste is grainy, old-school bitter IPA. Tasting crackers, grapefruit, orange pith, underripe peach or peach skin. Vinous, berry-like aftertaste.

Feel is juicy-clean, medium bodied with fine, zesty carbonation.

Overall, virtually indistinguishable from the flagship IPA - maybe a bit sweeter and more of a juicy, berry bend but - barring a side-by-side - near enough. Still tasty but, at two months, starting to show its age I think.

Another really tasty and well-rounded NEIPA from Stoneface. Nice mix of hops makes for a juicy and fairly smooth mouthfeel. Easy drinking and stands up among such a saturated style where winners abound.

Mosiac>El Dorado>Citra hops

Look: Thick haze with gold and muddy orange hues. Dense white foam proves to be sticky icky all over the sides of the glass. Moderate coverage after dissipation.

Nose: Thick and creamy scented oranges, mango chunk and pineapple concentrate. Sweet and fruity.

Feel & Flavor: A sweet, heavy and silky smooth sip, slight booze burn that quickly fades due to the depth of the hop flavor and chunky feel. Dense orange and sweet tropical highly concentrated fruity hop thing is pretty huge.

Overall: usually impressed by Stone face IPA offerings and this is one excellent NEDIPA.

Stoneface Brewing Company IPA - New England / Hazy

Chunky feel, Soo smooth but crisp and fresh feeling, with highly concentrated tropical fruity and sweet pine flavors from Mosaic>El Dorado>Citra hops. Another fine NEDIPA from Stone face. Lemon drops and grapefruit flavors in a subtle way to finish.

Poured into a 13 oz Teku glass canned recent. Pours a hazy orange with a solid finger sticky white head that leaves plenty of patches of lace, with excellent retention. 4.5

Aroma is mandarin, mango, cantaloupe, apricot, and a hint of grapefruit. 4.25

Taste follows mandarin, mango, cantaloupe, apricot, and just a tickle of grapefruit. 4.25

Mouthfeel is above average, not sticky or dry, soft gentle carbonation, and at 8% it goes down very easy. 4.5

Overall this brewery has been on a nice run of new releases and this one is no different. Mosaic, El Dorado, and Citra. 4.25

From a 16 oz. can dated 07/29/21. Sampled Oct 16, 2021.

The appearance is about what you might expect from the style with a hazy, murky, pulpy orange-amber.

Aromas are pretty basic including tropical fruit, oranges, and citrus. A lower profile breadiness.

Smooth, medium mouthfeel.

The taste is immediately sweet and then the fruity hops really jump i9n and take this over. Mild to moderate bitterness at the end. It is what I thought it might be.

From a pint can marked FERCANDO ALONSO 07/29/01

Poured into my tulip this beer is a murky opaque pineapple juice color with a fluffy cloud of cream foam. Bubbly lace on the sides of the glass as the foam settles.

Scent is immediately (notice it on opening the can) pineapple and tropical fruit. Lime. Grapefruit. Soapy and spicy hop notes. Pine needles.

Taste is tropical fruits - mango, pineapple - citrus (tangerine grapefruit and lime) and an earthy, spicy (pepper, coriander) and mildly dank hop notes. There's a dry rye bread crust note buried in the layers. Sort of like the rye crisps in a bag of chex mix. Mint and green melon notes appear as the beer warms and the finish becomes longer and spicier. I would swear I even get something like wintergreen in the finish. There's a fine balance between sweetness, dryness and bitterness; all of them by turns but none seems to overshadow the others.

Mouth is a creamy medium.

Another great IPA from Stoneface. Lots of hop aroma and flavor in a well balanced ale with an expertly hidden ABV.
