From a 16oz can, dated 11/22/23. ‘Rodney Grain-gerfield. I get no RIS-pect.’ That was tortured. Served in a spiegelau IPA glass.
Pours a hazy candy-orange -the colour of a tangerine LifeSaver - with two fingers of soft, lathery head. Retention is excellent, leaving a thick, creamy cap and a fat, gobby blanket of lacing.
Nose is sweet and candy-like, too - sugary aroma of sweet orange slices.
Taste is unexpectedly balanced, a bready, almost cupcake-like, creamy maltiness with lots of bright citrus juiciness. Tasting tangerine, sweet orange, mango, papaya and oily orange peel right up front while the back end brings a burst of berry flavour from the Mosaic and more of the typical grainy character I associate with Stoneface IPA’s.
Feel is juicy beyond anything I’ve experienced from Stoneface before. A medium-plus, creamy body with bright, tingly carbonation. Hop oily tingles clinging to my palate way after the sip.
Overall, well, that was pleasant! Tbh it was just a little too cloying and candy-like and without enough significant , corresponding bitterness to really get me worked up. But no regrets and I’d be enthusiastic to have it again.

Pours a hazylight yellow with a 1F head and a lot of lacing.
Smells of slightly dank floral hops with citrus and mango.
Tastes of tart grapefruit, orange, pineapple, mango and cantaloup with a persistent peppery bitter finish.
Medium body with light carbonation. dry mouthfeel.
This is a very drinkable and juicy NEIPA that gets more so as your glass warms. Sips start tart and sweet and end bitter.

From a 16 oz. can dated 01-27-23. Sampled April 1, 2023.
The appearance is to style with its hazy, cloudy looking amber-yellow color underneath a lacing leaving white head. Though I don't see any kind of pulp.
The aroma is pine, grapefruit, and herbal up front with a lower profile grainy white bread character.
Smooth medium and almost delicate mouthfeel.
The taste expresses sweet bread with a whirlwind of pine, grapefruit, rosemary, and thyme characters. The bitterness is moderate at the end and it lingers on the palate. For a style I have grown tired of...this is kind of nice.

Stoneface Brewing Company IPA New England / Hazy
A dry and earthy peppery hop kick happens first for me. Followed by grapefruit pucker, orange peel, stone fruit variety and tangy gumdrops. I've actually been jonzin' for a more earthy and bitter pine hop crunch and this does that very well.

Poured into a 13 oz Teku glass canned on 7/14/22. Pours a hazy yellow with a finger sticky white head that leaves thick streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.75
Aroma is mandarin, cantaloupe, marijuana, papaya, apricot, and grapefruit rind. 4.25
Taste follows mandarin, cantaloupe, marijuana, papaya, apricot, and grapefruit well balanced. 4.25
Mouthfeel is above average, a tad sticky, soft gentle carbonation, and at 7.3% it goes down easy enough, but rather big on flavor. 4.5
Overall this is a really nice brew and I think it is more than worth a shot. I will have no problem working my way through this 4 pack. 4.25
