Picked up a couple of 16oz cans at Stoneface about 2 weeks ago. Enjoying one out in The 'Zebo on a lazy Sunday afternoon....
Pours a deep, dark, opaque chestnut/mahogany. Had a creamy, very fine tan head which maintains its poise nicely while leaving nice lacing behind. Aroma is of dark fruit - raisins, dates, figs and black cherry. Body is medium to medium-plus with a supremely smooth feel.
Flavor has light caramel, molasses, and caramelized brown sugar. Then, like the aroma, more dark fruit. It's malty and sweet yet never gets cloying or syrupy. Quite tasty!! Cheers!!
