Had several pints this on tap at The John Hewitt pub, Belfast over 2 nights.
The first surprise to me after ordering, and being served my first pint of this brew was that it is described as a porter. It looked more like a strong dark ale. Dark ruby body with a nice thin (but sustained) cream coloured head. Smelled slightly malty. Tasted sweetish, but with a fair malty tang to it making for a nice enough session beer. It was a little bit on the "thin" side for a porter, but this is a nice enough cask beer.
