Hazy, hoppy and easy to drink. We used three hop varieties to offer a nice complex flavor profile.

Recommended by a work collage. Love the hazy unfiltered dark orange color. Outstanding aroma and mixed hop citrus taste. The IBU power is lower and no kick like a Nummy (my favorite) Nummy but still rates higher than most 6%'s I've sampled.

Can. No date on it. Pours an opaque, New England liquid. Aroma is some green hops. Unrefined. Some sugary sweetness I am picking up too. Rough around the edges. Flavor is soft. Creamy flavor. I find that many New England IPAs will fall into this category. The flavor is incredibly ambiguous. Creamy, nebulous hop flavor. Really hard to describe but easy to detect. I could see people enjoying this because it is very innocuous but I do not enjoy it very much.

Got in a trade with brutalfarce. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours opaquely hazy green color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.2%. Overall this is a delicious hazy IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resin/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Feels like Citra, Simcoe, Columbus hops. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; with a nice wheat/oat/malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness from lingering resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Feels like an East/West coast hybrid.

16 oz can traded in from brutalfarce!
Really dark murky pour here. Lots of darkened yellows, almost mustard or cumin powder-like. There is a slight brightness but it's still intensely dense. Head is creamy at 1 finger, recedes a bit but still leaves nice ripples of cotton on top.
Aroma has bright nectarines and slight sweaty peach, slight smooth wafts of banana and apple, and faint grapefruit acidity.
Starting off with a brief wave of earthiness, the beer builds on this base with notes of pine, tea, sweet orange, sweet grapefruit, clementine, wet grass, and faint wet garden. I'm picking up lots of mango the more I let it sit on the palate. A dank, dirty, spicy mango flavor. Very nice development.
Feel is electric with carbonation, yet still impeccably creamy, with very welcoming resins that coat the tongue and leave residue to socialize on the roof after the main event. Nice oiliness, slight alcohol heat.
Overall, this beer is a really great representation of what a NE IPA should be. Pretty good stuff. A touch overly earthy and resiny for me, but that's not all-bad. Definitely try it if given the chance.

Poured from a pint can into an IPA style glass. Small head, minimal lacing. Body is the color of peach nectar, very hazy. Mild fruit aroma on the nose. First sip reveals delicious citrusy flavor with a mild hops finish, minimal bitterness. Great mouth feel, easy drinking with a well hidden 6.2% abv.
