Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is hops and yeast. The taste is nice and hoppy with a nice bitter finish.

Clear golden pour. Normal head volume, outstanding lacing and normal retention.
The nose is that of a typical lager (malty) but lacks any sense of spicy hops. A slight note of sulfur that is subtle. It also lacks that liveliness that the world class pilsners have. In short, the aroma is similar to a Budweiser.
Light body with a touch of smoothness in the texture. World class carbonation / body balance. The effervescence is lively throughout. The finish provides a finely bubbled prickly rush.
The flavor profile is not quite good. The most noticeable aspects are the off flavors and lack of spiciness from Saaz hops. It's classified as a Czech pilsner - it's more like an amped up version of a slightly dirty Budweiser. Bitterness is weak for the style and is light, at best. Hop flavor is not present. Malt provides a light graininess but never achieves a detectable level of sweetness. Yeasty aspects are subtly present. About three quarters of the way through, the off flavors take center stage - light sulfur from the lager yeast that has not been cleaned up. The finish lacks crispness and the off flavors become dominate as it lingers to the point of clinging. Oddly, a touch of sweetness emerges just before the finish as it warms.

A taste a little to toasty for me. Clear appearance. Didn't get anything from the aroma but I am at a bar so hard to rate that. The taste is somewhat toasty. I do not taste the pilsner malt a whole lot. Semi sweet. Overall I wouldn't drink this again.

12oz can, sample from the brewery.
A great looking brew, good amount of froth on top. Malty nose and palate, not getting that clean crisp tone you'd see in the style. Lager-like for sure but its missing the spicy hop flavor and bitterness ... there is some bitterness there. Missing the grainy malt tone as well. Some yeasty by-products show that this lager is not as clean as it should be. A missed chance at a pretty narrow beer style.
