On-tap at Waterfront Ale House, New York, NY
A: The beer is hazy yellowish amber in color. It poured with a finger high white head that left a large patch of bubbles on the surface, a collar around the edge, and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of citrus and tropical fruit hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of citrusy hops along with notes of tropical fruits towards the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer hides its alcohol and doesn't seem to be that heavy on the palate—it's more in line of being on the border of an IPA and a DIPA in terms of the mouthfeel.

Don't know why this is listed as a stout. It's an Imperial IPA, and a delicious one. Picked up a two bombers at the brewery and shared them with friends - everyone loved it. It poured a hazy copper color. Alcohol was well-hidden and taste was complex, with hoppiness delightfully present but not overwhelming. Will certainly have again.

I don't know what the other 2 reviewers were going on about, but I totally missed it on this beer. I picked up a bottle in town about a week after the Brewery release (so freshness should not be an issue) and the beer was mostly unremarkable. It was bland, there was minimal aroma and taste. It was totally nonoffensive, but if I'm going to be so inebriated that a bomber of 10.3% ABV makes me, I want it to taste much better than this. There was only slight bitterness, subtle hoppiness, and not much going on.
Gun Hill makes some awesome beers and I'll continue trying what they make, but I won't try this again without some kind words on behalf of the brewery.

Poured from a 22oz bomber into a speiglau IPA glass.
Look is a dark orange bordering on Amber with pale straw highlights. Head consists of small bubbles nice head retention.
Aroma is almost Belgiany lots of herbal esters. A little citrus.
Really coming off strong as a Belgian IPA hops are flowery and herbal. Almost a honey sweetness.
Very excellent and amazingly balanced. Subtle and complex and so easily drinkable.
